ROME, Italy – The Oregon State women's basketball team traveled north on Friday, as the team's Italian tour shifted from Naples to Rome.
The Beavers spent the afternoon doing a walking tour of Rome, taking in some of the most historic sites in all of Europe. The day included views of the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum, and the Trevi Fountain.
"I have always looked forward to seeing the Trevi Fountain," said senior Janessa Thropay. "I've dreamed of throwing that coin over my shoulder, so that was really cool. There is so much history in Rome, and the entire day was full of memories.
