Sophomore, Isaiah Hodgins, needed to have a big game against Nevada in the absence of Trevon Bradford (not to mention Noah Togiai and Artavis Pierce) and boy did he deliver. It didn’t matter who was throwing him the ball, but Isaiah Hodgins was getting open and gashing the Wolf Pack defense on Saturday night; to the tune of 14 receptions for 200 yards and two touchdowns. The comeback bid ultimately fell just short, but there was a lot to unpack from the 37-35 defeat in Reno, Nevada.
Hodgins’ 14 catches were the most eye-popping statistic in terms of rarity.
