CORVALLIS -- Mike Riley still smiles at the natural beauty of the place he can now call home for the fourth time.
The edges of the 64-year-old's mouth arch upward and his teeth emerge at the sight of the birds, trees and vistas he missed during his three-year stint at Nebraska. His time in Lincoln ended with his firing last November, a tenure marked by too few victories for the once dominant program.
"We all, as coaches in a situation like that, would like another at-bat," Riley told The Oregonian/OregonLive in March. "We always felt we had a plan and even though the season didn't go very well, we had a plan for how that was going to change.
