SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Former Oregon State All-American/Olympian Joni Huntley was named to the Pacific-12 Conference’s All-Century women's track & field team on Tuesday.
The first American woman to clear 6 feet in the high jump, Huntley lettered from 1975-78. She is the school record-holder in the high jump (6-2) and ranks No. 2 all-time in the long jump (19-6.25).
She was the AIAW national champion and an All-American in the high jump and long jump in 1975. She was also the U.S. National champion in the high jump from 1974-77, and was a member of the 1976 and 1984 Olympic teams.
