Saturday's Millrose Games looks like a good show.
Local fans will have lots of rooting interests. Athletes who live and train in Oregon are all over the entry lists. Jerry Schumacher's Bowerman Track Club has seven entries in the men's 3,000 meters alone.
The Oregon Ducks are sending three athletes east for the meet -- Edward Cheserek (3,000), Blake Haney (Armory Invitational Mile) and Raevyn Rogers in an 800 in which she is expected to tangle with Laura Roesler, Ajee' Wilson and Brenda Martinez among others.
I'll be particularly interested in the men's Wanamaker Mile, in which Matthew Centrowitz of the Nike Oregon Project will be mixing it up again with New Zealander Nick Willis.
