LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Senior Sammy Harrison posted her best times of the season to earn victories in the 500 and 1,000 freestyle events, but the Oregon State swimming team fell in a Pac-12 dual meet to the USC Trojans, 164-90, on Friday at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Harrison swam the fourth-fastest 1,000-yard freestyle time in Oregon State history, finishing first in the event with a time of 10:05.96. The Henderson, Nev. native set the program record with a time of 9:35.36 last season.
Harrison continued a strong outing with a victory in the 500 freestyle, touching the wall first with a time of 4:56.
