ATLANTA, Ga. – Senior Sammy Harrison of the Oregon State swimming team wrapped up action at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming Championships with a 26th-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle on Saturday at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
Harrison clocked a time of 16:14.75 en route to her 26th-place overall finish, swimming in lane eight of the fifth heat on Saturday. With the result, Harrison closes out her career owning each of the top five times in the event in program history, with three of those times coming this season.
Harrison concludes her career as one of the most decorated swimmers in Oregon State history, owning many of the top times in school history across several events, including the 200-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle and the 1,000-yard freestyle, in addition to the aforementioned 1,650-yard freestyle.
