Senior posted the fifth-fastest 100-meter hurdle time in school history on Thursday and is in second place after Day 1 of the Jim Click heptathlon at the University of Arizona.
Hallock scored 3,212 points in the first four events of the seven-part competition. Teammate scored 2,754 points and is in 14th place in the 21-woman field.
Hallock ran 14.06 in the hurdles, scored 970 points and bettered her former PR by .23 seconds. She cleared 5-4 in the high jump for 771 points; threw 37-6 in the shot put for 623 points and ran 25.43 in the 200 meters for 848 points.
