SAN DIEGO – It was a dominant effort for the Oregon State softball team, which earned a 10-0 victory in five innings behind a stellar outing for and an explosion from the Beaver offense in the second day of the Torero Classic on Saturday.
Haendiges earned the win with 5.0 scoreless innings of two-hit ball, notching three strikeouts in the performance. She improved to 2-0 on the year with two complete games in her early Beaver career.
Oregon State (5-3) recorded 14 hits and did all the necessary damage in the first and third innings, putting up three and six runs in the frames, respectively.
