CORVALLIS – Oregon State standout Marie Gulich has been tabbed as one of ten candidates for the Lisa Leslie Award, as the Naismith Hall of Fame narrowed its watch list on Friday.
The Leslie Award, which will be given out for the first time this season, recognizes the top center in the nation. The selection committee is composed of top women's college basketball personnel including media members, head coaches, sports information directors and Hall of Famers. In March, five finalists will be presented to Leslie and the Hall of Fame's selection committee. The winner will be announced during the Final Four.
