For the majority of Wayne Tinkle's tenure with the Oregon State Beavers men's basketball program the point guard position has been a weak spot.
In the recruiting class of 2018, however, Oregon State had an even more pressing need in the frontcourt, adding Jack Wilson, Warren Washington and junior college stretch-four Kylor Kelley - all of whom measure 6-foot-11 or taller.
This year, Tinkle and his coaching staff are back to focusing on a balanced class, and finding a point guard of the future.
Having already secured commitments from three-star small forward Julien Frankin and combo guard Jarod Lucas, Oregon State was off to a good start.
