FORT WORTH, Texas – Two Oregon State gymnasts performed as individual qualifiers at the NCAA Championships Friday evening bringing the 2016 season to a conclusion. Madeline Gardiner performed in the all-around while Risa Perez competed on the balance beam.
Gardiner, who performed in OSU’s all-around lineup all year long and qualified to nationals as an individual all-around competitor, scored 39.200 to finish ninth in the evening session. The junior from Cambridge, Ontario, scored of 9.825 on the balance beam, 9.80 on the floor exercise and recorded scores of 9.7875 on vault and uneven bars.
