SALEM, Ore.– Two Beavers competed individually at the 45th Charles Bowles Invitational on Saturday morning as redshirt junior Maddie Fuhrman and freshman Sydni Nedza represented the No. 24 in the country.
Fuhrman led the way for the Beavers at Bush's Pasture Park as she finished 11th overall, grabbing a top-20 finish in her second career 5K. She posted a time of 18:24.2 over the 5-kilometer course, a career-best at that distance.
Following Fuhrman was teammate Sydni Nedza who ran in her second collegiate race as a Beaver. The freshman finished 58th and clocked in at 19:29.
