SAN FRANCISCO - For the first time this season and second time in her career, junior Frankie Hammoude has been named Pac-12 Conference Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday.
Her first Player of the Week nod came on May 17 of last season following the Utah series after hitting four home runs for six RBIs. In Oregon State's season-opening five-game weekend, Hammoude helped the Beavers start 3-2 with wins over Southern Utah (8-0), Texas State (6-1) and New Mexico State (12-0).
Hammoude reached base in all five games last week, producing 10 hits, going 10-for-16 (.
