Corvallis, Ore. – Four Oregon State wrestlers earned top-20 preseason recognition on Wednesday in The Open Mat’s preseason rankings.
Redshirt sophomore heavyweight Amarveer Dhesi earned the highest individual ranking. The 2014 Pacific-12 Conference runner-up and NCAA-tournament competitor, who missed last season with a knee injury, is ranked No. 7.
Sophomore 125-pounder Ronnie Bresser and redshirt sophomore 197-pounder Cody Crawford are ranked 11th. Both were Pac-12 champions and each won two bouts at the NCAA championships last March.
Senior 165-pounder Seth Thomas is ranked 19th.
