Field Sets School Record at UW Invitational

SEATTLE, Wash. – Highlighted by Gillette Fields record-setting performance in the pole vault, the Oregon State track & field team wrapped up competition at the multi-day UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor Center.

"It was a good day," began head coach Louie Quintana. "We are learning to be resilient and keep our expectations high."

Junior pole vaulter Field made Oregon State history on day two in Seattle. The Granite Bay, Calif. native cleared 12-feet 10.75-inches on her first attempt setting the OSU record. She broke her own previously held top mark of 12-feet 6.
