CORVALLIS, Ore. – Just eight days and eight practices into fall camp and the Oregon State Beavers are moving rapidly toward the 2015 season opener against Weber State, Friday, Sept. 4.
The first major milestone has been passed as the Beavers held their first scrimmage of the fall totaling 66 plays, covering 329 yards and generating 35 points. The team finished practice working on red zone and backed up situations.
The defense dominated early on in the scrimmage recording three-and-outs on the first six drives with each quarterback – Seth Collins, Marcus McMaryion and Nick Mitchell – in charge of two drives apiece.
