FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Ellie Slama carded a 2-over 75 in the final round of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf National Championships.
Slama improved her score each day to finish the championship with a 22-over 88-78-75--241 at the difficult par-73, 6,473-yard Blessings Golf Club. She qualified for the National Championships as one of the top three individuals not on a qualifying team during the NCAA Regionals in Cle Elum, Wash.
"Blessings is a beast of a golf course where the more you play it, the more you have a better grasp of how to play it," Oregon State head coach Dawn Shockley said.
