Dhesi's pin caps win at Cal Poly

San Luis Obispo, Calif. – The Oregon State wrestling team won 7 of 10 matches and defeated Cal Poly 31-12 in a Pacific-12 Conference dual on Friday night to stretch its winning streak to three matches in a row.

The Beavers (8-5, 2-1 Pac-12) won the first five matches to build an insurmountable 21-0 lead. A major decision by redshirt freshman Corey Griego at 184 and a pin by redshirt sophomore heavyweight Amarveer Dhesi clinched the match.

Sophomore Ronnie Bresser (125) won by technical fall and redshirt junior Joey Delgado (149) won by major decision to also earn bonus points.
