Oregon State basketball has added another recruit for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Dearon Tucker is a 6-foot-10 power forward from Irving, Texas. He announced his commitment to the Beavers on Twitter Friday afternoon.
Dearon Tucker is a 3-star recruit according to 247 sports. He was also offered by Baylor, Depaul, Wake Forest, Penn State and Coastal Carolina. Just over a week ago Tucker released his top four schools on Twitter.
Tucker should fit seamlessly into Oregon State’s frontcourt which is looking for reliable playmakers in the post. Dearon Tucker is an intriguing forward and could help fill the void after Warren Washington’s transfer.
