Deandre Ayton, potential No. 1 overall draft pick, presents new test for Oregon State men's basketball

CORVALLIS -- In September 2016, live on "SportsCenter," Deandre Ayton put on a navy blue hat to signal he would attend the University of Arizona.

Sitting behind Ayton - then the No. 3 ranked recruit in the nation by ESPN - were his teammates from Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, Arizona. And appearing just over Ayton's left shoulder was Alfred Hollins, now a freshman contributor at Oregon State.

Ayton and Hollins were teammates for one season at Hillcrest. Ayton, originally from the Bahamas, moved to Phoenix with his mother to play at the prep program for his last two years before college.
