CORVALLIS — Beware of a flying controller, Darell Garretson cautions.
He's seen one leave a dent in a wall during an intense night of video games with his Oregon State teammates. Though he insists he was not the culprit in this particular instance, he hints that he also may or may not have occasionally hurled one across the room in frustration or joy.
"You don't want to be embarrassed, so I better pull out anything that I can," Garretson says with a laugh. "You'd be surprised what video games do."
The long rounds of FIFA, Madden and NBA 2K are all in good fun, Garretson assures.
