Craig Evans, No. 5 Rated JUCO DT, Commits to Oregon State

Craig Evans is a 6-foot-3, 305-pound monster who currently attends Arizona Western Junior College. He is the No. 5 rated defensive tackle in the junior college ranks and has chosen Oregon State over offers from Colorado, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Kentucky. 247 Sports reporter, Ryan Bartow, was the first to break the news.

Craig Evans’ relationship with Gary Andersen was one of the main factors in his decision to commit to Oregon State. When Evans was a four star prospect coming out of high school he committed to Gary Andersen and Wisconsin, but was denied by Wisconsin’s admissions department, which was immensely frustrating for Coach Andersen who felt that Craig Evans did everything that he needed to do to be accepted.
