CORVALLIS – Senior Saskia McNairy and sophomore Claire Corbitt are on their way to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in this year's edition of the Pacific-12 Conference Multi-Event Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day, seven-event heptathlon begins on Saturday at Roy P. Drachman Stadium at 5 p.m. with the 100-meter hurdles. The final day of competition begins at 5:30 p.m. with the long jump.
The pair of Beavers have competed in one full heptathlon this season already at the Jim Click Multis earlier this season. McNairy registered the fourth-best finish in OSU history compiling 5,235 points finishing in fourth place.
