CORVALLIS -- Every night before bed, Connor Kelsey sets seven alarms on his iPhone -- one every five minutes between 6 and 6:30 a.m. After gradually waking up, the bleary-eyed freshman gets dressed and heads to his usual dining hall to order his usual breakfast: two slices of bacon, one scoop of hash browns and one scoop of eggs.
"Once I create a schedule," Kelsey said, "it kind of just puts me in a comfort zone."
In that sense, he and long snapping are the ideal marriage. He appreciates the repetitive nature of his obscure craft.
