SAN FRANCISCO – Michael Conforto and Jacoby Ellsbury are in pretty good company.
The two former Oregon State outfielders were named to the Pac-12 Conference’s All-Century Baseball Team, as the league celebrates its 100 years this season.
Conforto and Ellsbury, both All-Americans during their tenure in Corvallis, help comprise the All-Century outfield, which also consists of Barry Bonds, Fred Lynn, Terry Francona, Mike Kelly and Oddibe McDowell.
Conforto is Oregon State’s first three-time All-American. He was recognized in each of his three seasons at Oregon State, 2012-14, and was the 2013 and 2014 Pac-12 Player of the Year.
