College Football Playoff committee member Condoleezza Rice, who is the former Secretary of State, recently shared her thoughts on the current state of the system in place.
While there are some people who are hoping to see the size of the four-team College Football Playoff committee expand, Condoleezza Rice believes things are perfectly fine how they currently are.
“I feel pretty strongly about four now because I thought that the rivalry weekend—that Saturday after Thanksgiving—almost felt like a play–in game,” Rice said, according to ESPN.com. “Now the Iron Bowl, Alabama has to beat Auburn. You could imagine the circumstances in another year where the Civil War, Oregonreally has to beat Oregon State.
