The Oregon State Beavers hosted more than a dozen Oregon high school football stars over the weekend, hoping to continue to build its in-state pipeline.
Included among those visitors was a trio of Churchill High School juniors - offensive lineman Richard Estrella, wide receiver Marshaun Tucker Jr. and two-way athlete Kimani Quade - who came away impressed by the way they were treated in Corvallis.
"The trip was really good," Estrella said. "I loved all of the facilities and the environment. The atmosphere felt very welcoming and great. All the coaches were polite, and seemed happy to meet me and I was happy to meet them.
