CORVALLIS - After nearly transferring last season, Christian Wallace has decided to stay at Oregon State - and switch to the offensive side of the ball.
One of the prized recruits from Gary Andersen's tenure in Corvallis, the former four-star athlete from Sealy, Texas, debuted as a running back Wednesday after spending his redshirt freshman season at cornerback.
"Where we're at running-back wise, we thought we'd take a look at him in the spring," OSU coach Jonathan Smith said. "He was energized about the idea. We're excited. His first day, I thought he looked pretty good."
