Oregon State cornerback Dashon Hunt has decided to medically retire from football after revealing that he has a condition called spinal stenosis.
According to the Mayo Clinic, spinal stenosis is "a narrowing of the open spaces within your spine, which can put pressure on your spinal cord and the nerves that travel through the spine."
Hunt, who was part of Oregon State's 2013 recruiting class, played safety and cornerback during the Beavers spring game last week.
