SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Oregon State's Carson Barry plays in the NCAA Championships starting Friday at the par-70, 7,289-yard Grayhawk Golf Course.
Barry was the top individual at the NCAA Bryan Regional last week, shooting a 3-under 213 to help force a playoff. He shot par in two consecutive rounds and is one of six golfers at the NCAA Championships competing as individuals.
Barry, who is averaging 71.97 strokes per round this season, is participating in his second NCAA Championship. He came to Scottsdale last year as the Beavers advanced as a team.
