Nearly a year ago, after the story broke outlining that Luke Heimlich had pleaded guilty as a 15-year old to molesting a 6-year old, a disappointed and concerned Brenda Tracy met with some high ranking Oregon State officials.
Dr. Edward Ray, the university president, and Susie Brubaker-Cole, the campus vice provost for student affairs met with Tracy, who was petitioning the Power Five Conferences to take a stronger stance on violent offenders on campus.
Dr. Ray told Tracy in that meeting that OSU was convening a committee to form a policy to address the Heimlich matter, she said.
