The Pac-12 Conference has a broken football brand. We all know it. And that reared its ugly head on Sunday. Washington State won 10 games this season while playing in a Power Five Conference. For that, it got an appearance in the Alamo Bowl.
WSU's losses were to Rose Bowl-bound Washington and to USC by three points. But it plays in the Pac-12. For that, the Cougars were left out of New Year's Six bowl games by the selection committee. But all 12 of the conference schools took a hit when the committee sent Florida (9-3) to the Peach Bowl to play Michigan instead of WSU.
