Manase Hungalu, Oregon State linebacker joined me on the Bald Faced Truth radio show (12-3p weekdays on 102.9-FM in Portland), where he insisted ex-OSU coach Gary Andersen didn't "quit" on his team when he left midseason.

"Everything he tried to do wasn't working," Hungalu said. "The most important part of the program was the players. He wasn't giving what he wanted to the players. He wasn't happy. Him stepping away wasn't because he was quitting, it was because he wanted the kids to have a better chance, a better situation.
