Calvin Tyler Jr., Texas 3-star RB, ready to make decision after Oregon State Beavers visit

Calvin Tyler Jr. may not have the measurements to leave college football coaches drooling, but his high school statistics speak volumes.

The 5-foot-9, 190-pound ball-carrier, out of Silsbee High School (Silsbee, Texas), ran for 50 touchdowns of over 50 yards during his prep career, and totaled 2,861 yards and 29 touchdowns during his senior campaign.

It's enough to remind many Oregon State fans of unheralded recruit Jacquizz Rodgers, who went on to become one of the school's all-time best running backs.

This weekend, Tyler took an official visit to Oregon State, and was blown away by the experience.
