Needing two ball-carriers in the class of the 2017, Oregon State took a hit with the decommitment of Rivals four-star running back T.J. Green on Tuesday.
But just a few hours later, explosive 247Sports three-star all-purpose back Calvin Tyler Jr. took his place, sliding into an opportunity for early playing time in Corvallis.
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound athlete, out of Silsbee High School (Silsbee, Texas), made his announcement on Twitter:
