Cal recruiting coordinator Pierre Ingram placed on administrative leave after arrest in prostitution sting: Report

Cal football recruiting coordinator and wide receiver coach Pierre Ingram has been placed on administrative leave following last week's arrest in a prostitution sting, according to The San Jose Mercury News.

A previous article from the newspaper stated that Ingram "was arrested after police said he allegedly solicited an undercover officer online and then showed up April 16 at the Motel 6 on Embarcadero."

Cal athletics released the following statement Monday, announcing that the assistant coach had been placed on administrative leave:

"We are aware of the situation and at this time the University is in the process of gathering more information.
