The Baltimore Orioles have selected Oregon State short-stop Cadyn Grenier with the 37th overall pick in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft.
Cadyn Grenier is a phenomenal short-stop and recently won the Pac-12 defensive player of the year award. His defense has never been in question as he quickly allowed Nick Madrigal to move to his more natural position as second-basemen. Grenier has also dramatically improved his offensive output.
Cadyn Grenier has been a crucial member of the Oregon State baseball team and will look to add another College World Series berth to the program before he turns pro.
