BTD’s Best All-Time Basketball Player: #1 A.C. Green v. #8 David Lucas (Black Bracket)

The Case For Green: The 1983-1984 Pac-10 Player of the Year, A.C. Green’s four seasons in Corvallis were a sight to behold, as the 6’ 9” forward tallied 1,694 points, snagged 880 rebounds and shot a mind-numbing 60.2% from the field in 115 career games for Oregon State. While Green would go on to be more known for his lengthy NBA stay, where he competed in a 1,192 consecutive games, he’s also renowed for being arguably the most consistent and reliable player that the Beavers program has ever produced at the next level.

The Case For Lucas: After struggling through his first two campaigns in Corvallis, forward David Lucas bounced back with epic junior and season seasons that sent him into Oregon State folklore for good.
