CORVALLIS – Oregon State women's basketball signee Kennedy Brown earned national recognition Thursday, as she was selected to play in this year's McDonald's All-American game. Brown, who is currently in the midst of her senior season at Derby High School in Derby, Kansas, will join Destiny Slocum as McDonald's All-Americans on next year's roster. Brown is the first player in Oregon State history to earn McDonald's All-America honors as a commit.
The two 12-player All-American Game rosters were chosen by the game's selection committee, and announced on ESPN's The Jump on Thursday. The 18th annual McDonald's All-American Girls Game will be played on Wednesday March 27 in Atlanta, Ga.
