AUSTIN, Texas – Oregon State men's soccer junior midfielder Nathan Braaten (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) was named to the 2017 Academic All-America second team in a release by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday.
The Thunder Ridge High School product adds another distinguished award to his name after holding a 4.0 GPA in his third season in the Orange and Black while pursuing a degree in finance. Braaten now owns two First Team Pac-12 All-Academic and two CoSIDA Academic All-District awards in addition to his CoSIDA Academic All-American status.
Braaten joins an exclusive club at Oregon State as he is one of four members of the men's soccer program to be named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American teams.
