CORVALLIS - Behind star running back Jeremy McNichols four first-half touchdowns, Boise State jumped out to a 31-7 halftime lead and never looked back, keeping their unbeaten season in tact after a road trip to Oregon State. The Broncos are now 3-0 with wins over Louisiana-Lafayette, Washington State and the Beavers.
The story of the game started early for Boise State, who out-gained the Beavers, 435-67 in the first half, led by McNichols’ 146 rushing yards. With with help from lost yardage due to quarterback Darell Garretson’s sacks taken in the first half, Oregon State managed just 14 yards on ground in first half.
