CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team headed East on Wednesday for its final long road trip of the 2016-17 season.
The Beavers (2-4) will face No. 11 Rutgers (7-2) in New Brunswick, N.J., on Friday and unranked Drexel (7-4) in Philadelphia on Saturday; both matches start at 4 p.m. PST. They then return home for four of their final six duals.
OSU won at Northern Colorado and lost at Wyoming this past weekend. Joey Palmer (133), Corey Griego (197) and Cody Crawford (hwt.) each went 2-0; Crawford had two pins and Palmer won by a tech fall and a major decision.
