SEATTLE, Wash. – Four crews from the No. 13 Oregon State men's rowing team turned in strong performances at the Opening Day Regatta in Seattle Saturday morning.
“It was a beautiful day for the Windermere Cup and we had some great racing today,” interim head coach Gabe Winkler said. “The JV was in a tough fight with Columbia and just a couple strokes caused them to come up on the short end. However, the 3V found the right gear in the last 50 (meters) to claw from behind and edge out Columbia. Now the regular season is over and we are in championship mode with Pac-12’s and IRA’s coming up.
