Gigi Stoll, who has struggled to get into tournaments with the Arizona women's golf team this fall, ended the season on a high note as she tied for fourth in the Pac-12 Preview in Kona, Hawaii, for the best finish of her college career.
Stoll, a Beaverton High School graduate, had only qualified for one of the Wildcats' first three fall events as she continued to integrate swing change she had made after the NCAA Championship in May.
But this week Stoll, a sophomore, made 12 birdies in the 54-hole event, tying for second-most in the field, and finished at 2-under-par 217, four shots behind winner Robynn Ree of USC.
