OREGON CITY – The Oregon State track and field team opened the season on the right note cruising to a team victory at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open hosted by Clackamas Community College on Friday and Saturday in Oregon City.
"The women competed really well," stated head coach Louie Quintana. "We had some nice conditions to be able to compete in and we took advantage."
The Beavers took the overall title racking up 199 team points. Their closest competitor was Portland which accumulated 102 points. Northwest Christian (87), Lewis & Clark (76) and Western Oregon (76) round out the top five.
