PULLMAN, Wash. – Katie McWilliams came up with a pair of huge plays to lift No. 16 Oregon State to a 63-61 overtime victory over Washington State Friday evening in Pullman, Wash.
McWilliams converted on an inbounds play with two second remaining in regulation to level the score and force overtime. The junior then calmly knocked down a pair of free throws with 1.1 second left in the extra period to give the Beavers the victory.
"You knew Washington State was going to come out in this game with nothing to lose," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck.
