HILLSBORO, Ore. – Christian Donahue tripled, drove in two and finished 3-for-5 to lead the seventh-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 6-2 win over Central Arkansas in front of 4,852 at Ron Tonkin Field.
The game was a part of the Dam City Showcase with the Oregon State football team practicing at neighboring Hillsboro Stadium leading up to the matchup with the Bears.
Donahue highlighted his day with a run-scoring triple to the gap in left in the sixth inning. It was his team-leading fifth triple of the season and the 22nd of the year for the Beavers, who lead in the nation in that category.
