CORVALLIS – The Oregon State wrestling team picked up four wins but fell short to No. 12 Iowa State inside of Gill Coliseum on a rainy Monday night.
The Beavers (4-7, 2-1 Pac-12) lost to the visiting No. 12 Cyclones (10-2, 6-1 Big 12) by a final score of 23-14 in the 17th all-time meeting between the two schools.
Starting with the lightest weight class, redshirt senior Ronnie Bresser continued to make it look easy on the mat with his 19th win of the season. No. 3-ranked Bresser quickly went up by a point after an opening whistle unnecessary roughness call.
