The Beavers scored 27 runs today, taking the first game in the doubleheader against Missouri State 17-6, and jumping to a 10-1 lead in the second before the game was postponed in the 2nd inning.
The first game looked like it might be close for a minute; the team’s traded scoreless first innings, and then exchanged runs in the second. For the Beavers, Tyler Malone scored on a Kyle Nobach single. The Missouri State Bears scored off what has been the bane of the Beavers all season; a wild pitch advanced runner Matt Brown, who had reached bases on a walk.
